In order to escape the heat of the Coachella valley, I opted to take the family to San Diego for fathers day. San Diego has become one of our favorite places to visit. With the good 30 degree difference between palm desert and san diego, the difference in temperature was a nice retreat.
I have a hard time passing up a beautiful classic VW. Many of you may not know that I run VwObsessionSocal on Instagram which a popular outlet for all of my VW related images.
Finished the day at Coronado brewing company with a refreshing Orange Ave beer. The food here was absolutely amazing and some of the best I ever had. If you ever get a chance to check it out the Cajun Shrimp Tacos were awesome.
On our way home , I had to take the opportunity to at least attempt the beautiful sight. The moon was rising over the mountain during the sunset, however I did not have any longer lenses that would been able to better isolate the moon as the subject. None the less I feel the above image was able to capture the beauty of the moment.
